Mr. Burdette has practiced law since 1972. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois (B.A., 1969), Columbia Law School, NY, NY (J.D., 1972) and University of Miami, Coral Gables, Florida (MBA, 1982). He has almost 40 years of experience in many fields including securities law, finance, investment banking, patent prosecution and litigation and contract law. In addition to his legal work, Mr. Burdette has a strong background in business, having translated his education in both law and business into a practice that included doing debt and equity reorganizations (turnarounds) of businesses that found themselves in difficult financial condition. Charity Services Centers, P.A. was founded by Mr. Burdette as a means of offering practical as well as legal assistance to charitable organizations so they can make the greatest possible contribution to the people who need their services in communities throughout the United States.
Robert joined CSC in January 2015. He quickly began managing the daily operations of the main office and coordinating the nonprofit information from our various regional offices. Currently, he is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Florida International University. Robert has experience working in supply chain management and the finance industry. Robert joined CSC to support nonprofits within the Miami area that are promoting social change in their local communities.
Jay has over 15 years of experience in developing financial service company’s sales and marketing efforts. He has worked with various types of banks, investment companies, and third party delivers of investment products. Recently he has been helping banks grow their community based relationships to solidify their core business model. This includes working with non-profits and investors to grow new and existing accounts. Jay graduated from Pace University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management.
Lucinda is the Rocky Mountain Regional Director based in Fort Collins, Colorado. She has over 15 years professional experience that includes entrepreneurship support, workforce development, nonprofit management, consulting and international social entrepreneurship. Lucinda earned her MBA in Global Social & Sustainable Enterprises from Colorado State University and Bachelors from Bryn Mawr College.
Holley is delighted to join CSC, heading up its efforts on the west coast that includes replicating in the Bay Area a successful Miami-based program in the foster care sector. “I am moved by the impact that CSC makes in the lives of foster youth as well as it’s work with other non-profits.” She brings to CSC a passion for helping others along with a 20-year background in the corporate arena. She thrives on building and maintaining strong, effective, long-lasting relationships. Most recently she was a sales trainer and facilitator for AT&T utilizing her communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. She also works with unemployed and underemployed people, training them on job search skills. When not enhancing and expanding CSC’s efforts, Holley volunteers at the SPCA walking dogs and socializing cats in an effort to find their forever homes.
David focuses on strategic development and expansion of Educate Tomorrow, a reputable nonprofit supported by CSC, into Colorado. He has over 30 years of experience in managing growth initiatives for regional, national and global companies. His areas of expertise include business development, capital fundraising, account management, marketing and sales management. David is a graduate of Colorado State University, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with High Distinction and lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Alex has over 25 years of financial management experience, including Vice President and Business Manager of a telecommunications company. Alex has worked with Charity Deposits Corp since 2005 and is currently the President. She has been instrumental in catalyzing CDC’s growth through financial management and operational and administrative oversight. As CSC’s Vice President, she is responsible for managing bank relations and facilitating meaningful connections between banks and nonprofits. Alex also sits on the Board of Directors for the Center for Social Change and has years of experience of community service.
